Window flange masking tape for the automotive industry


Product description

tesa® 7140 consists of a laminate of PVC film with a PET film. It combines the durability of a PVC film and the high tensile modulus of a PET film.
This product allows the window panes to be applied directly to the e-coated window flange area without using a primer. tesa® 7140 is highly compatible with all relevant e-coats, fillers and window glues. After demasking, the panes can be applied directly on the e-coat without pretreatment of the surface.

Protection of the window flange from paint
The product design of tesa® 7140 allows convenient application both by hand and robot and is also suitable for converting and die-cutting.
In case of fully automatic applications the best-before-date for spools is max. 12 months under recommended storage conditions.
