tesa® Mounting Tape for Transparent & Glass 20 kg/m has been developed for a quick, secure and permanent hold on all smooth and sufficiently firm surfaces. Especially suited for nearly invisible fixing on transparent surfaces like glass, mirrors and acrylic or for transparent objects and applications.

It’s super-easy to use – you don’t need any tools other than a pair of scissors – and ensures a durable, reliable hold. Under optimum conditions a single 10 cm strip can hold up to 2 kg.

What’s the deal with Mounting Tape Glass & Transparent Surfaces?
It’s perfect for permanently and invisibly mounting flat objects (up to 10mm widewith 2kg/10cm mounting tape) on smooth and even surfaces like plastic or glass windows and doors. It is not suitable for applications on vinyl wallpaper or damp rooms and temperatures under 10°C or over 40°C reduce the tape’s adhesive power.
How much weight can Mounting Tape for Transparent & Glass withstand?
If you’ve got a good, clean surface and you’re mounting an object less than
10mm thick, then a 10cm strip of this mounting tape will support up to 2kg.
What surfaces can’t I use Mounting Tape for Transparent & Glass on?
We can’t think of any transparent surfaces that this won’t stick to like glue. But if you do manage to find one that’s made of silicone, PTFE or one that’s been painted with stain-resistant paint, then we’re afraid it’s not going to work.
Can Mounting Tapes be damaged by UV radiation?
