tesa® Mounting Tape for Tiles and Metal 100 kg/m is our strongest mounting tape and has specially been formulated for an extra-strong and secure hold on solid and smooth surfaces like tiles, metal and most plastics. It even compensates for minor surface irregularities.

The tape is perfectly suited for permanent mounting of objects up to 10 mm thickness and weights of up to 6 kg per object or application without the need for a hammer or a drill. Under optimal conditions, it's capable of holding up to 10 kg per 10-cm of tape. It is easy and convenient to use and ensures a durable, reliable hold.

Mounting Tapes for Brick & Stone, for Tiles & Metal, and for Transparent & Glass are all UV resistant.

This is our strongest Mounting Tape ever and ideal for attaching heavy objects permanently to tiles. In fact, since it can hold 100kg per metre, it’s probably even stronger than whatever’s holding your tiles up! (It is not suitable for applications on vinyl wallpaper, PTFE, silicone or damp rooms, nor is it UV-resistant or waterproof. Temperatures under 10°C or over 40°C reduce the adhesive power, and we also don’t recommend using it to mount objects that protrude more than 1cm from the surface or that weigh over 6kg.

We’ve got 5 different tapes specially designed for the most common tasks – two different types of Mounting Tapes for Tiles & Metal; one for Brick & Stone; one for Transparent and Glass; one for Wallpaper & Plaster. So all you have to do is choose the one best suited to the surface you have in mind.

As long as it’s not exposed to damp or direct sunlight, this stuff really is ultra strong. In ideal conditions, a single 10cm strip will support a 10mm-thick object that weighs up to 10kg.

It’s stick to pretty much anything that’s not non-stick, so steer clear of silicon, stain resistant paint and PTFE.
