The tesa® flameXtinct product family comprises a variety of high performance adhesive tape solutions for mounting applications. The tesa® flameXtinct assortment, and thus all contained products are clearly defined by following characteristics:

tesa® flameXtinct 45001 product is a flame retardant PE-foam tape for permanent mounting in demanding applications. The tape comprises of a flame retardant acrylic adhesive and flame retardant PE-foam with excellent bonding strength. Following features are offered:
  • Proven flame retardant characteristics according to FAR 25.853(a) app. F part1 and UL 94 HBF - HF1
  • Excellent adhesion characteristics on a variety of surfaces
  • High conformability and gap filling properties
  • Shock absorbing
  • Extremely light weight compared to alternative flame retardant bonding opportunities
