In collaboration with tesa’s distributor, Kvazár Kft., we presented the practical benefits of tesa® 4713 (6713 printed by LogoTape) to Eurocircuits, then we showcased the high sealing performance of tesa® 4713, ensuring the security of Eurocircuits' packages during transit.

Eurocircuits, the European reference for the manufacturing of prototypes & small series PCBs and Assemblies, faced a crucial challenge in aligning its packaging practices with environmental responsibility. The need was for a more sustainable, printable packaging tape that not only ensured secure sealing but also elevated the security and advertising levels of their packaging system throughout Europe.
“We sought a paper-based printable tape with excellent closing properties at a reasonable price”, explained Tamás Dudás, Regional Sales Manager from Eurocircuits. The existing solution, BOPP tapes from Asia, though unprinted, did not meet the growing demand for more sustainable packaging and lacked the branding potential Eurocircuits envisioned.
The solution demonstrated not only superior sealing performance, but also the capability to meet Eurocircuits' sustainability goals and elevate our brand through customization. Furthermore, the printed logo on the tape provided an increased security level, discouraging tampering and counterfeiting. We are also very proud of the fact the printing company uses a more sustainable water-based ink to print our logo.

From a sustainability perspective, the backing of this product is composed of paper sourced from controlled forests and other controlled sources and its adhesive is natural rubber, a renewable feedstock. Along with having a solvent-free production process, tesa® 4713 tape features a core that is of paper and recyclable. Finally, this tape can be submitted to recycling without needing to be removed from the box nor endangering the cardboard recycling process - as tested by INGEDE Method 12.
