tesa® 6947 PV6 black glossy/white is a premium, two-layer laser markable film with UV-fluorescent acrylic adhesive. Featuring an embedded, tamper-proof customized watermark as proof of originality, it meets the Chinese GB/T 25978 standard for A to E-Type labels. Its self-destructible construction ensures the label is destroyed and leaves a visible trace if tampered with.
A laser removes the top layer to create precise images and cuts labels to any size and format in one step, enabling flexible customization. The UV-fluorescent adhesive leaves an UV-detectable trace on most surfaces, proving manipulation or label removal, and meets legal automotive related requirements, GB/T 25978 (P.R.C.) and NHTSA §541.5 (USA).

Application Fields

The product design prevents unauthorized reuse and manipulation, ensuring compliance and traceability throughout the vehicle’s lifecycle. tesa laser-markable films are used for securely and efficiently marking vehicle identification numbers (VIN), certification labels, and theft-relevant parts. Combined in a label-set also used for warning and instruction labels, e.g. tire and loading labels, caution or emission labels.
6947 series is only available for automotive customers.
