Product description
tesa® 4024 PV 4 is a reliable, universal carton-sealing tape designed for cartons weighing up to 15 kg. It features a premium polypropylene (PP) backing combined with a high-tack, water-based acrylic adhesive with 65% bio-based content. This helps reducing the product carbon footprint significantly and contributes to more sustainability. The adhesive’s well-balanced tack and excellent shear resistance ensure secure sealing immediately after application - even under demanding environmental conditions.

- We conducted an externally reviewed comparative carbon footprint assessment and summarized the results in a publicly available report. tesa® 4024PV4 Next Generation shows an up to 31% lower carbon footprint compared to the previous version, tesa® 4024 PV4, based on a cradle to gate analysis including biogenic carbon uptake.
- The tesa manufacturing site Comet SpA, Italy has been externally certified under number ISCC-PLUS-CertDE100-22206125 and complies with the requirements of the certification system of ISCC PLUS.
