Plant Concagno produces a broad range of adhesive tapes and films serving packaging, industrial, professional, consumer, and automotive applications. The portfolio includes solutions for:

• Carton sealing and packaging, such as carton sealing tapes (CST), strapping tapes, tear tapes, reinforced and filament tapes
• Wrapping, handling, and bundling, including WHTape and film based solutions
• Fixing and mounting, with single and double sided adhesive tapes
• Repairing and duct tapes, designed for maintenance and versatile use
• Surface protection and masking, including protective films and masking tapes
• Electrical insulation and functional adhesive tapes for technical applications
• High performance automotive solutions, including tapes for electric vehicle battery applications (EVB)

The assortment is produced using different adhesive technologies, mainly hot melt and water based systems, allowing the plant to address a wide range of performance and application requirements.

The Plant Concagno product assortment includes carton sealing, strapping, wrapping, fixing, protection, masking, and high performance automotive tapes, produced with hot melt and water based adhesive technologies and increasingly focused on sustainable and innovative solutions.

Sustainability is a core element of how the Concagno site operates today and prepares for the future, guiding both daily decisions and long term development. The plant operates under a certified ISO 14001 environmental management system, which provides a structured framework for identifying, monitoring, and continuously improving environmental performance. This systematic approach ensures that environmental protection is embedded into operational processes and supports ongoing improvement across the site.

In line with tesa’s global ambition to achieve climate neutral production, the Concagno site is actively advancing the transformation of its energy and infrastructure set-up, with the clear objective of reducing both direct and indirect emissions over the long term. Concrete actions include the integration of energy efficient solutions combining cogeneration and heat pump technology, supported by intelligent energy management systems. This setup allows the site to recover and reuse thermal energy generated during production, significantly improving overall energy efficiency and reducing emissions associated with site operations. These initiatives are part of a broader, long term roadmap aimed at progressively increasing energy efficiency and supporting a more sustainable energy use across the site.

At the same time, sustainability at Concagno goes hand in hand with modernization and operational excellence. The site is investing in modern, water based and solvent free production technologies, enabling more sustainable adhesive manufacturing while also improving process stability and efficiency.
