Attaching a sign – easy, practical and without drilling Often enough, a sign is needed to point the way, perhaps to a fire distinguisher in an office. Or it might be a decorative sign at home. Whichever is the case, that can be done easily and without drilling. And you’ll always know where to go.
Use a cloth with water or pure alcohol to clean the surface. Make sure to eliminate all dust and grease.
Remove the protective film from the screw. This will reveal the initial low-grade adhesive.
Stick the screw to the wall. It will stay in place for the next phase.
Take the provided tube of adhesive and squeeze its contents into the larger hole of the screw. Stop when the adhesive starts coming out the smaller hole.
The adhesive now requires 12 hours to dry. Only after that time can it reach its maximum strength.
Mount the sign on the screw. It’s securely attached now.
That’s all there is to it. Now you can, for instance, easily see where the fire distinguisher is, or you can enjoy a vintage sign on your wall.
It’s also effortless to take the sign down again. After detaching the sign itself, use pliers to twist the screw sideways off the wall.
Some adhesive will likely stay behind. With a scraper, you can remove it without problems. Your wall will be pristine, as if the sign had never been put there in the first place.
