We need:

White cotton woven rug (80 cm wide) diagram for stencil sturdy white paper for the stencil set square ruler pencil scissors fabric paint brush tesa® masking tape ECO PREMIUM 38 mm

How we do it:

DIY Decorative Rag / Step 1: Use pencil

Cut a stencil from the sturdy paper according to the diagram. Using the stencil, trace the chevron pattern in pencil on the rug.

Mark out the pattern with tesa® masking tape ECO PREMIUM: Taper the ends of the tape diagonally and begin taping with the inside corners. Press the edges of the masking tape down firmly.

Mark out the pattern with tesa® masking tape ECO PREMIUM: Taper the ends of the tape diagonally and begin taping with the inside corners. Press the edges of the masking tape down firmly.
DIY Decorative Rag / Step 4: Paint

Apply fabric paint to the areas, making sure to brush the paint away from the masking tape so that it doesn't leak under it.
DIY Decorative Rag / Step 5: Remove
05

Remove the masking tape from the rug. Treat the rug according to the paint manufacturer's instructions.
