Super practical for any festival: the homemade, wearable drink holder!
Level of difficulty
Original & quick
What We Need:
ruler
hobby knife
tesa Festival Tape
How to Make It:
01
First the holder: to make it, you need to stick 5 strips of Gaffer tape that are about 35 cm long to each other. The adhesive surface needs to face upwards.
02
Then apply 8 strips of Gaffer tape about 25 cm long to the lower strips to create a mat.
03
Now cut the Gaffer tape mat to 20 cm x 30 cm with the hobby knife.
04
Now line up the short sides and join them together from inside and outside with a strip of Gaffer tape.
05
Now for the underside: create a square Gaffer tape mat by sticking 5 strips of tape together to make each side. The strips should be about 20 cm long.
06
Now use the hobby knife to cut out a circle with a diameter of 18 cm.
07
Place the holder on the circle and use the hobby knife to cut into the circle at several points.
08
Fold up these protruding ends and attach them to the holder on all sides using a piece of Gaffer tape.
09
Now for the strap: simply stick 2 strips of tape on top of one another. Make sure that one strip is longer than the other so that some adhesive surface remains free at both ends. The strips should be about 140 cm long for a shoulder strap.
10
Attach the strap to the holder with the adhesive surfaces.
11
So that everything stays together, wrap another strip of tape around the holder.
12
Now the festival drink holder is finished – cheers!
