This is what we need: Patterns, thick paper for the templates, deep picture frame, e.g. from Ikea (our hearts have a finished dimension of about 29 x 29 cm), variously patterned papers, red cardboard: 31 x 31 cm, scissors, ruler, pencil, cutter, tesa® all-purpose glue, tesa® sprayglue PERMANENT
I'm giving you a heart picture for Valentine's Day!
A terrific surprise for your sweetheart: This small home-made work of art is of lasting value and deserves a place of honor on the wall. You will certainly have this spot in the heart of the one you gift with this picture!
What We Need:
How It Is Done:
Make a template according to the pattern out of thick paper. Cleanly cut out the heart for this with the cutter. Cut nine squares out of variously patterned papers with the help of the template, transfer the heart to the backsides.
Cut the hearts out of the squares with the cutter. Try laying the patchwork picture together so that the various patterns harmonize well together.
Now spray the squares on the back with tesa® sprayglue PERMANENT.
Glue the squares flush to the red cardboard.
Using the tesa® all-purpose glue draw a somewhat thicker line through the middle of the hearts.
Fold the cut-out hearts in the middle and set the fold-line on the glue line.
Support the hearts until the adhesive is dry.
