Three men and a woman "on board"



The new tesa Global Executive Board is complete And there are changes also on the Supervisory Board.

The tesa SE Global Executive Board starts the new year with a new team. As already announced in September 2019, on January 1, 2020, Dr. Norman Goldberg took over as Chairman of the Management Board at tesa SE, replacing Dr. Robert Gereke, who retired on December 31, 2019. For the past three years, Goldberg – who holds a doctorate in chemistry – has been responsible for the industrial direct business of the international technology group based in Norderstedt near Hamburg. 

As of January 1, 2020, the Supervisory Board also welcomes Angela Cackovich to the Global Executive Board. In her new position, she heads the division Direct Industries. Since 2011, Angela Cackovich worked in various global management positions at Henkel KGaA & Co. KG. Among others, she was responsible for the adhesives business for automotive and aerospace industries in Europe, the United States and Latin America, as well as the global adhesives business for construction and craft industries. 

From the beginning of the new year, Dr. Jörg Diesfeld (Vice President Finance Pharmacy & Selective Brands at Beiersdorf AG until the end of 2019) is the new tesa CFO, replacing Jan Christoph Teetz, who had held this position since 2006 and will resign his seat on April 30, 2020. Dr. Jörg Diesfeld started his career in 1998 as a business economist and strategic management consultant at the Boston Consulting Group. He has held various management positions at Beiersdorf AG since 2003, including FinanceDirector in Russia and Regional Vice President Finance in the USA. 

The four-member tesa Global Executive Board is completed by Oliver Höfs. He has already been with the company for 21 years – since 2016, he works on the board as Trade Manager and is responsible for the trading business of the tesa group. Höfs had previously gained international experience as managing director of the affiliates in Korea and China and as regional manager at tesa Eastern Europe.

As of January 1, 2020, there are personnel changes also on the tesa Supervisory Board. The longstanding Chairman of the Supervisory Board Dr. Ulrich Schmidt is succeeded by the former Vice Chairman of the Supervisory Board Dr. Martin Stark. New to the board is Dessi Temperley, CFO of Beiersdorf AG.
