tesa SE acquires the Twinlock product division from Polymount


The Twinlock product division from the company Polymount with headquarters in Nijkerk / Netherlands becomes a 100% subsidiary of tesa SE.

As a result, the manufacturer of adhesive tapes and self-adhesive system solutions, which is one of the world's market leaders in its sector, strengthens its market position concerning products for the printing industry, one of the pillars of tesa's industrial business. "The self-adhesive Twinlock Sleeves from Polymount optimally complement our existing tesa range for the flexographic printing industry," says Dr. Norman Goldberg, Head of Direct Industries at tesa SE. "This makes it easier for us to tap into the full potential of the segment."

Polymount develops, produces, and distributes innovative products that accelerate processes in flexographic printing, and thus reduce costs. Polymount started in 2002 with the self-adhesive Twinlock Sleeve, Twinlock is based on the method of mounting printing plates on sleeves and cylinders without the use of double-sided adhesive tapes.

Polymount was founded 16 years ago. With its 70 employees, in 2017, it generated sales of around 18.5 million Euro. The company has its own sales offices in strategic places globally. Their innovative products are distributed in more than 80 countries.
