Successful integration: tesa nie wieder bohren on track for growth

The goal of the tesa strategy is both to generate organic growth and to strengthen the international group of companies through acquisitions. tesa SE acquired the former nie wieder bohren ag in April 2017. This affiliate is a perfect addition to the company’s product and technology portfolio, and it brings the group new sales channels with major commercial customers such as residential construction firms, hotel chains, and medical centers. The process of integrating the renamed tesa nie wieder bohren GmbH was successfully completed on the German market in January 2018.

“Self-adhesive tesa nie wieder bohren bath accessories are the perfect complement to proven tesa adhesive solutions such as Powerstrips and the tesa® Smart Mounting System,” explains Reinhold Zintgraf, Managing Director of tesa nie wieder bohren GmbH. “This gives consumers added room for creativity while ensuring simple, secure mounting. And that’s added value that brings new sales opportunities for retailers and makes it possible to tap into additional groups of buyers,” Zintgraf adds.

Impressive product range concepts and POS measures

The response to the tesa nie wieder bohren range has been tremendous: Over 1,500 stores affiliated with the ten largest DIY superstores in Germany are already benefiting from the extensive product portfolio. With impressive product range and communication concepts along with strategic POS measures, tesa is helping to boost its retail partners’ sales. Further milestones are coming up soon: tesa nie wieder bohren products are slated to launch on the international market in July 2018. There are also plans to steadily expand the range with even more products, such as six self-adhesive tesa bath accessory series in the high premium segment, encompassing as many as 100 additional tesa nie wieder bohren items.
