An OES supplying waterboxes to a large German automotive manufacturer was working with a range of standard-sized adhesive tapes.  

The problem was that a new seal design required a tape of special dimensions. Their adhesive supplier couldn’t create the unique product they needed, so they asked tesa. 

We worked closely with our customer, and with their customers up and down the value chain, to develop a rigorously tested tape of the right dimensions that could still fulfil temperature and shock resistance and peel test requirements.  

And we maintain that relationship today, to give our customer confidence they have our support as their products reach the OEM and then onto roads around the world.
