Paper-based tear tapes on a stack of cardboard

More sustainable tear tapes: tesa® 51334 and tesa® 51344

Our customers are looking for solutions that help them meet sustainability requirements without sacrificing process reliability or customer experience. To support this transition, we are expanding our paper-based tear tape portfolio with two new product versions that complete the range: tesa® 51334 PV0 and tesa® 51344 PV1.

Industry challenge: Sustainability without compromise

Packaging manufacturers are under increasing pressure to replace filmic solutions for box opening in order to meet evolving regulatory and recycling requirements. At the same time, high output productivity remains critical, requiring full production line speed and efficient tape processing. In parallel, expectations for a clean and intuitive unboxing experience are rising. Yet traditional filmic tapes often undermine this, especially when it comes to credible sustainability claims.
