Your Tasks

As member of our global Corporate Communications team you are responsible for managing and advancing the global website presence of tesa. The website is served in 42 countries and 27 languages and is one of the key touchpoints of tesa. As the website is tailored to business customers, consumers and other stakeholders alike, a key goal of the role is to coordinate and manage requirements out different tesa units and ensure global consistency in look and content. You are also responsible to drive the strategic role of the website as a whole.

  • Drive the state-of-the-art development of the website
  • Coordinate with the content and brand team at Corporate Communications to run an attractive well designed and functional modern website
  • Manage and prioritize with the marketing and regional management teams the overall roadmap and hand-over to technical implementation IT team
  • Coordinate with other tesa business units and the digital information technology department to develop the global and specifically needed features set to best support our customers
  • Develop KPI framework to document website progress and use as basis for continuous optimizations
  • Understand customer demands and service-design
  • Budget responsibility
  • Direct report to Head of Corporate Communications

Your Profile

  • Academics: An MBA or equivalent with a background in media sciences, economics or informatics
  • More than 5 yrs. of experience in managing and developing of global websites or similar digital products
  • Great understanding of user experience, look & feel, design systems and modularly build websites
  • You are a digital native and have profound knowledge in online communication, marketing mechanisms, social media as well as knowledge of the latest trends
  • You are energetic, convincing, assertive, committed, and motivated
  • You have very good conceptual, analytical and technological skills
  • You have good MS Office, Google Analytics knowledge as well as knowledge in the maintenance of CMS (Content Management Systems)
  • You have excellent German and English skills, other foreign languages are an advantage
