Bonds the evaporator plate directly to the back of the polystyrene body over the full area (100%) to avoid polystyrene foam migration after injection.



After the injection of polyurethane (PU) foam, there is a risk that it could migrate under the evaporator and lift it up. Full area bonding of the evaporator directly to the back of the polystyrene (PS) body prevents this from happening.

The tape used should have a high tack as well as sufficient adhesion to metal and polystyrene. Its liner should be easy to lift off, even if it has larger dimensions.
