Ever tried hammering nails into tiles? Thought not. That’s why we’ve developed these removable, reusable and adjustable ones. They don’t leave a trace and they’re super strong, too. (Not suitable for wallpaper, plaster, copper, brass, marble, coated paper or non-stick and porous materials.)
Take a cloth and a little alcohol or methylated spirit to get rid of any dirt and grease. If you’re using detergent, make sure it doesn’t contain silicone as this will leave a non-stick residue and impair the nail’s sticking power. Your surface should be dry before you move on to the next step.
Using the handles and without touching the adhesive surface itself, detach two strips from their backing. Position them vertically to your nice clean (and dry!) tiling.
Press each strip firmly all over for at least 5 seconds to activate the Powerstrips® Technology.
Remove the protective foil and line up each nail with the top edge of the relevant strip. (The nail heads should be at the top, please!). Now fold the nails down onto their respective adhesive areas immediately above the red line.
Time to activate some more Powerstrips® Technology. Use both thumbs to press down at the top, middle and bottom of each nail for 5 seconds each.
Ready for the really clever bit. If you push the red toggle up, you can adjust the height of each nail head, so getting your medicine cabinet perfectly level couldn’t be easier. And of course you’re not limited to medicine cabinet – you can hang pretty much anything, from photos and mirrors to shelves and racks. Once you’ve got it at the height you want, just slide the toggle back down into its locked position.
The Adjustable Adhesive Nails are seriously strong and can support up to 4kg – or 8kg if you’re using two of them. And because they’re removable and reusable, moving them around takes just a moment or two.
This bit’s even easier. Grab the nail head between thumb and forefinger and take hold of the exposed tab at the bottom with your other hand. Without pressing the nail onto the surface, pull straight downwards towards the floor (NOT away from the surface or diagonally), to release the thousands of tiny bonds that form the adhesive surface.
