The delicate paper stars look like snow crystals. These hanging decorations are easy to make - a wonderful present for your next Christmas party!
We need: white cardboard, cutter, ruler, punch pliers, scissors, per star 30 cm of satin ribbon (3 mm wide), glue stick
Cut 1.5 cm strips from the white cardboard, as follows: large star 8 x 34 cm and 8 x 25 cm, small star 8 x 26 cm.
For the large star, fold the 34 cm strips in the middle.
Now fold both sides of the strip at a distance of 6 cm inward to the centerline.
Apply glue approx. 1 cm on the open ends
Glue the ends together.
Now apply glue on the short edges …
…and combine the single elements to create a star.
Now insert the intermediate elements. Repeat the procedure with the 25 cm strips, but only fold both sides of the strip at a distance of 5 cm from the center line to the inside. Glue the elements between the star points. Make the small stars following steps 2 to 8. However, fold the two sides of the strips inward at a distance of 5 cm to the center line.
Punch a hole into the star''s long tip and attach a ribbon.
Decorate your home with these DIY paper stars!
