EDI Support Specialist – Monitoring & Operations

About the Role
We are looking for an EDI Support Specialist to join tesa’s global MIA team. In this role, you will help ensure reliable electronic data exchange between tesa and our customers, suppliers, and partners. You will work closely with team members in India, Germany, and the USA to monitor daily processes, resolve incidents, and support business teams worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor daily inbound and outbound EDI message flows
• Investigate and resolve EDI-related incidents
• Act as 2nd Level Support, conducting Incident and Problem Management
• Support internal users and external partners with issue resolution
• Assist with testing and onboarding new partners
• Document recurring issues and support continuous improvement efforts

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on EDI experience
• Familiarity with common EDI standards (e.g., EDIFACT, X12)
• Basic experience with XML or simple mapping/scripting tools
• Ability to work directly with business users and partners to resolve data issues
• Familiarity with the ITIL framework Preferred Qualifications (Nice to have)
• Experience with SAP PI/PO or SAP Integration Suite
• Understanding of SAP ERP processes and IDoc error handling
• Exposure to SAP Application Interface Framework (AIF) Soft Skills
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple tickets and priorities
• Proactive, reliable, and eager to learn
• Comfortable working independently and across global time zones
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability
