Key Responsibilities:
Execute logistics processes in local warehouses, ensuring on-time delivery.
Collaborate with logistics provider to manage inbound and outbound logistics, inventory count, rework, disposal, and value-added services.
Monitor and evaluate logistics provider performance, preparing key performance indicators on a cluster level.
Handle logistics claims and ensure effective cost control by summarizing invoiced costs.
Maintain EPAL accountancy in the BMS tool, monitoring pallets and containers, and initiating corrective actions when necessary.
Contribute to the regional logistics expert community, implementing provided guidelines and continuous improvement initiatives at the cluster level.
Actively generate and implement ideas for internal process optimization and logistics cost savings, utilizing the First Time Right Methodology.
What you will need
University degree or equivalent knowledge, preferably with a specialization in Supply Chain (APICS certification is a plus).
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a logistics role within a multinational company in a matrix organization.
Excellent written and spoken English skills (B2 level or higher), additional German a plus, Romanian is an advantage
Strong analytical and logical thinking abilities.
Ability to thrive under pressure, meeting challenging deadlines.
Comfortable working in a multicultural and virtual environment.
Motivated to collaborate in an international setting, with occasional travel opportunities.
SAP knowledge is a plus.
The position is a maternity cover, we offer a fixed term contract with the possibility of prolongation
