The Logistics Operator is responsible to perform all functions of the warehouse, including but not limited to receiving, moving and storing of material and shipment of products to our customers.

The Logistics Operator is responsible to perform all functions of the warehouse, including but not limited to receiving, moving and storing of material and shipment of products to our customers.
How you'll help the formula:
- Load and unload product/material in a safe and efficient manner
- Inspect and count incoming products and deliver them to the designated location
- Check and count outgoing products, includes picking orders; staging; and properly palletizing of product
- Move product to appropriate storage area
- Earn and maintain a stand-up and sit-down powered forklift license
- Operate all equipment safely and efficiently
- Able to use the computer systems to obtain necessary information to perform assignments
- Maintain a clean, neat, orderly work area
- Follow all company procedures and policies
- Work in a team concept; self-motivated; able and willing to be cross-functional
- Other duties as assigned
Additional Responsibilities
- Perform labelling, sorting, wrapping, packing and repackaging as needed
- Carry out assigned tasks in the small parcel shipping area and assist in other areas as needed
- Participate in cycle counts and physical inventory
- Clean trailers and truck bays
Key elements for your role:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Must be able to count accurately, use a calculator, write legibly, and, with training, perform basic math including conversion to metric measurements
- Working knowledge of computers
- Must be able to read and speak English
- Ability to follow directions and function as a team member with a positive attitude
- Must be able to lift up to 50#, stand and walk up to 95% of scheduled shift
- Must have correctable vision and hearing
- Must be able to work in compliance with 6S, ISO, and IATF standards
- Powered forklift experience; preferred
- Hours: any as required, including overtime, in either facility (Sparta or Walker)
