We don't know if Mother Holle decorates her gift for Father Frost with an ice crystal. However, it would be a beautiful idea - and an easy one, too!

We need:

square sheets of paper: 15 x 15 cm and 20 x 20 cm in size or cut-outs from simple white paper pointed small scissors pencil gift wrap ribbons glue stick transparent tape

Wrap the gifts

Wrap the gifts. Fix the paper with tesafilm®.

Fold a square piece of paper diagonally

Fold a square piece of paper diagonally.

Fold the triangle

Fold the resulting triangle in the center and cut it in half.

Repeat

Repeat.

Draw the pattern of the snowflake

Draw the pattern on the paper using a pencil. To make the snowflakes look different, you can change the pattern, as you like. Simply use your imagination try out different designs.

Cut out the pattern

Now, cut out the pattern along the lines.

Carefully unfold the snowflake

Carefully unfold the snowflake. If you want to remove the folding lines, carefully iron the finished flake without steam at a low temperature.

Apply the glue

Place the snowflake on your working pad and apply the glue.

Place the snowflake on the wrapped gift

Now stick the snowflake on the wrapped gift.
