Hexagons made of air-drying modeling clay are the base for these tags. Various animals romp and roam - they are simply stamped on the tags. In order to highlight them, the bottom corners feature a metallic shimmer. On the left and on the right side, the tags are framed by a decorative border made with tesa® Deco Tape.
White, air-drying modeling clay, parchment paper, rolling pin or smooth bottle, sharp small knife, hexagon templates, thin wooden skewer, forest animals stamps, stamp pad (black), various metallic craft paints, brushes, thin leather string (per tag approx. 50 cm), wooden beads, scissors, tesa® Deco Tape in black and white, and tesafilm®.
Roll out the modeling clay (about 4 mm) on the parchment paper. Cut out hexagons using the templates; then place the stencils on the clay and cut out the forms with a knife. Remove the remaining clay.
Pierce a hole in the upper part, using the wooden skewer. Allow the clay tags to air-dry for about 24 hours (according to instructions).
Mask the hexagon from corner to corner with tesafilm®, as to create a triangle.
Color the triangle with metallic paint.
Remove the tesafilm®.
Cover the sides halfway with tesa® Deco Tape; fold the remaining tape backwards. Cut the ends using the scissor.
Stamp different animals on the tags.
