tesa exhibits its latest products at Paperworld Middle East in Dubai.

This year's Paperworld in Frankfurt proved quite successful for tesa, which came away with the "Product of the Year 2013" award from the German association for the paper, office supplies and stationery sector, as well as a first prize ISPA Award. Now the world's leading trade fair for office supplies will be welcoming visitors in Dubai from March 5 to 7. tesa will also be in attendance and will be exhibiting its innovations at a trade fair in this growth region for the first time - booth no. 3E31.

"In Frankfurt we already saw a lot of interest from representatives from the Middle East, Africa and Asia. By participating in Paperworld Middle East we can take advantage of this interest and reach out to industry representatives who did not come to Frankfurt and who prefer to travel the shorter distance and talk business within the region itself," Jan Schumann, Sales Manager for tesa Consumer International, explains. "The region as a whole offers a great deal of potential for the years to come. Dubai in particular currently plays a key role, as it provides a base for many regional wholesalers who export goods to Africa and the Arab region."

In addition to South America and China, the Middle East currently offers the world's highest growth rates in the paper, office supplies and stationery market. Growing prosperity, better educational infrastructure and rapid population growth are determining factors here. This was clearly evident at Paperworld Middle East even last year. In 2012 it drew 5,500 visitors, mainly from Saudi Arabia, India, Oman, Kuwait and Iran.

tesa will be represented in Dubai as part of the German Pavilion and as the only German exhibitor from the adhesive tape and adhesive solutions segment. The new tesa EasyCut® Frame and Compact desk dispensers, the award-winning tesafilm® Mini Dispenser ecoLogo® and tesa® Roller Correction ecoLogo® will be a particular focus at the fair. In addition, Farook International Stationery, the largest sales partner in the region, will host tesa as a partner at its stand.
