About the role

Continued development of tesa’s position in the Czech Republic

The Sales Representative is the first (operational) point of contact for defined customers; involved in recommending products, presenting new product launches, quoting standard price offers and order taking from the tesa customers.

You will report to David Babicky, Filed Sales Manager Czech Republic and Slovakia: “My creed:  To hire is to take people higher” – Haresh Sippy.  I am a person, who likes to support and motivate people to achieve their goals in a positive team spirit. I look for a team player, for whom it is natural to create a trustworthy customer relationship and with a proactive approach. What you will do

  • Promote and sell tesa products to customers to increase distribution and sales
  • Plan and organize effective use of time to meet the demands of the territory
  • Reporting of field sales activity required through company specified CRM system
  • Gain customer knowledge and share information with Line Manager
  • Optimize the active selling time / airtime per customer
  • Create strong and good relations with the customers – tesa ambassador
  • Present the assortment and make sure listed assortment is in the shelves – visibility of tesa at the Point of Sales (POS)
  • Check and update shelves – fill in products if needed
  • Present new products and categories, promotions and campaigns
  • Product Training
  • POS focus – secondary placements
  • Category Approach – co-promotions with other categories if possible
  • Re-building of shops and establish new shops
  • Shelf Concept
  • Training of shop staff
  • Promote complete defined assortment with focus on specialties (e.g. Precision Masking)

What you will need

  • Sales experience (min. 3 years)
  • Marketing & E-commerce experience preferred
  • General Knowledge of the industry and the market of the assigned segment
  • Good communication skills and talented networker
  • Good Negotiation skills and good presentation skills
  • Strong customer focus
  • Fluent in local language mandatory, additional English language skills preferred
