HR Generalist

The HR Generalist provides support on HR local related processes/services and employee life cycle administration on the assigned countries and assist HR Manager to implement & carry out HR processes & projects in accordance with Company Regional strategy.

  • Act as a first point of contact for employees and line managers in personnel and labor law related questions
  • Maintain HR records by recording all the new hires, transfers, terminations, changes etc. ensuring full compliance with local regulations and GDPR
  • Responsible for reporting activities related to local personnel ensuring data accuracy & quality
  • Responsible to manage the employee documentation & data base in HR systems (e.g. LMS, employee files/data management software, Payroll, Time recording, etc) in compliance with regulations
  • Monitor changes in local legislation, labor law and market development reporting important changes to line manager
  • Ensure alignment and compliance and proper execution of agreed actions, processes, procedures, communications in close collaboration with HR Managers, HRBP and Center of Excellence (e.g. indexation)
  • Assistance in development and implementation of human resource policies
  • Involved in regional projects 

What you will do

Data & Processes:

  • Maintain data in the HR-systems and ensure employee life cycle administration of the assigned legal entities
  • Take the lead in reviewing and renewing local company policies when it’s needed to be compliant with Regional input and guidelines or when it’s needed to be compliant with local regulations
  • First point of contact in the assigned legal entities for the annual performance management process, VAP and annual pay review, responsible to share communications and send reminders when needed/required
  • Responsible for HR Audit Management

Employee relations:

  • Assistance in management of employee representatives & works council relation being the 1st point of contact for them, if needed (depends on the Country)
  • Support the execution of employee surveys & engagement activities and ensure the follow-up 
  • Ensure labor safety in cooperation with legal representatives and health&safety employees representatives

Recruitment process: 

  • In close cooperation with Hiring Manager, Regional TA Manager & HR Manager coordinate the execution of the whole recruitment process of the vacancies for all the functions following Company process flow
  • Schedule and participate in job interviews when required
  • Deliver positive and negative feedbacks to candidates when required
  • Provide support in the assessment of the candidates
  • Deliver job offers to selected candidates following terms&conditions/input agreed with the hiring team

Onboarding & Off Boarding:

  • Responsible to gather from the newcomer all the relevant info to proceed with the hiring
  • Responsible to provide all the documents/gifts/welcome box following local and regional guidelines
  • Ensure proper onboarding and offboarding processes guaranteeing the effectiveness of these processes

Compensation & Benefits: 

  • Point of Contact for the external payroll services
  • Manage local benefit, insurance and pension schemes, well – being programs 
  • Responsible to provide information to HR Managers, Total Rewards Manager and HRBP on expected local mandatory increases where locally required (by law, contract labor agreements, indexation etc.)

Training & Development:

  • Ensure the roll out of corporate/regional development programs and local individual training needs. Maintain Learning Management System records and report the costs of trainings when required
  • People leadership responsibility: Yes

What you will need

  • Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
  • Efficient HR administration and people management skills (high quality and accuracy)
  • Good knowledge of employment/labor laws
  • Good knowledge of MS Office;
  • Good knowledge of HRIS systems (e.g. Success Factor)
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Aptitude in problem-solving
  • Additional HR training will be a plus
  • Capability to manage confidential and sensitive information
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, setting right priorities to meet the deadlines
  • Excellent team working in a virtual and international environment
  • Integrity and positive attitude to build relationships based on trust, inclusion and respect
