What you will do
- You will support tesa SE directly in ongoing projects starting July 2026
- You will be responsible of part-projects in the area of simulation
- You will support the development and improvement of our adhesives and products through modeling and simulation
- You will help to adapt and extend classic and current material models and simulation methods
- You will independently document your work results
What you will need
- You are an outstanding bachelor or master student in the fields of mechanical engineering, physics, materials science, mathematics or comparable and can provide an overview of your current grades
- You have good programming skills in Python and/or MATLAB
- You have good knowledge of the finite element method, (nonlinear) continuum mechanics and underlying mathematics is welcome
- You have basic skills in the use of appropriate FEA software packages like SIMULIA, Abaqus is a plus
- You have had first experiences in modeling and simulation of polymeric materials is also a big plus
