Product description
tesa® ACXplus 7046 is an acrylic foam tape, available in gray or white. It consists of a high performance acrylic system and is primarily characterized by its bonding power, stress dissipation characteristics, and its temperature and weather resistance. Due to the product's unique formulation, this double-sided acrylic foam tape combines very high adhesion levels with the ability to absorb and dissipate high dynamic loads. tesa® ACXplus 7046 performs well on "hard-to-bond-materials" such as powder coatings or plastic materials. Even in combinations of such materials, this product provides advanced safety due to its innovative product design.
tesa® ACXplus 7046 is especially designed to allow invisible bonding of decorative elements. The gray or white color options adapt very well to metal and plastic surfaces. Furthermore, gleaming of translucent and decorative materials is avoided.

Application Fields
The tesa® ACXplus product family is suitable for a wide range of conctructive bonding applications. To ensure the highest performance possible, our aim is to fully understand the application (including the substrates involved) in order to provide the right product recommendation. Example applications include but are not limited to:
- Mounting of decorative panels (e.g. refrigerator glass doors)
- Mounting of decorative elements (e.g. covers of dishwashers, muntin bars on windows)
- Mounting of glass-to-glass or glass-to-metal applications (e.g. partition walls or glass doors)

Please note that we recommend using tesa® Adhesion Promoter as surface pre-treatment as it leads to a significant improvement of adhesion levels. Which tesa® Adhesion Promoter should be used depends on the substrates and the application. We will be glad to advise you in order to find the right solution.
