Adhesive tapes for sealing of automotive glass

Our specialty double-sided tesa® ACX^plus acrylic foam tapes create durable seals for the assembly of windows and sunroofs. These tapes are highly flexible and temperature- and UV-resistant, making them suitable for bonding soft rubber seals to primed glass or ceramic substrates. They are resistant to temperature variations, humidity, and UV, and maintain a reliable bond in temperatures as low as –40 °C.

Mounting of locator pins

Locator pin mounting with adhesive tapes is ideal for holding car windshields in position during assembly. This method eliminates the need for mechanical fasteners, speeding up installation and reducing potential damage.
