This site is subject to U.S. laws, which may not afford the same level of protection as those in your country.

5. Our Products, Websites, and Apps Are Not For Children

Our products, websites, and apps are not intended for children nor targeted to children under the age of 16.  We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 16.  If we learn that we possess information from a child under the age of 16, we will delete such information in accordance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (“COPPA”) or other applicable laws (such as the California Consumer Privacy Act).  If you are a parent or guardian and you believe that your child under the age of 16 has provided us with personal information without your consent, please contact us.

6. Email Communications

You may unsubscribe from our marketing communications by clicking the “unsubscribe” link found in every commercial email we send, or by sending us a request to unsubscribe at optout@tesatape.com. If you opt-out of receiving marketing email communications, we may still send you email messages related to your account or specific transactions with us.  Unsubscribing yourself from our marketing communications will not affect our service to you.

7. Information Security

We have implemented appropriate and commercially reasonable physical, technical, and administrative safeguards to help prevent unauthorized access to, use of, and disclosure of, your personal information.  However, there is no perfect security, and we cannot guarantee the security of your personal information.  Please do your part to help keep your personal information secure by maintaining the secrecy of any credentials used to access your account and reporting suspected unauthorized activity to us immediately.

The tesa Tape Calculator App assists with adhesive tape related calculations and conversions.  Whether you need to convert from meters to square meters or from inches to millimeters, with our app, you have all you need at your fingertips. 11.5 Does tesa “Sell” Your Personal Information?

We do not “sell” Personal Information of California Consumers as that term is defined under the CCPA and CPRA and will not sell this information unless we modify this California Privacy Policy. We do however, “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as described in our Cookie Policy [link]. You may opt-out of the sharing of your Personal Information as described below under Paragraph 8 (Your Data Privacy Rights).

Right to Non-Discrimination for the Exercise of Your Privacy Rights If you choose to exercise any of your rights under the CCPA or CPRA, you have the right to not receive discriminatory treatment by us.

Submitting Requests Relating to Your Personal Information and Verification Process

Our response times may vary depending on the specific type(s) of information sought. We respond to all verifiable requests for information as soon as we reasonably can and no later than legally required. To help protect your privacy and maintain security, we will take steps to verify your identity before granting you access to your personal information or complying with any of the requests described above. To verify your identity, we may require you to provide certain information we are likely to already have on-file about you based on the type of relationship you have with us. If you have a registered account, we may require you to use that account to verify your identity. If you do not have an account with us, we will not ask you to create one for verification purposes.  If you exercise your right to request specific pieces of your personal information, we will require you to sign a declaration under penalty of perjury that you are the consumer whose personal information is the subject of the request. We will maintain all signed declarations for our records.
