Our long-term strategic goal is to use 100% sustainable raw materials for our products. What are more sustainable tapes and adhesives? How can tape be more sustainable?
Our more sustainable tapes and adhesives are defined and designed to minimize environmental impact. This means that for our products to be marked as more sustainable (featuring our marker), they must:
contain at least 50% bio-based material in one component and 30% in the entire product,
have at least one component (backing, adhesive, or liner) that is made of at least 50% recycled material, and the total share in the product must be at least 30%,
be certified as recycling-friendly or recyclable according to certifications like INGEDE Method 12 or PTS-RH 021:2012, or
have at least one component (backing, adhesive, liner) that has more than 50% content of a (bio) mass balance material and minimum 30% share in total product.
