755-series Transfer Tapes

Transfer tapes differ from other double-sided tapes in that they have no backing. They are transparent and extremely conformable but do not allow repositioning. Being thin but strong products, they also ensure an efficient converting and laminating process.

Used in a variety of lamination, splicing, and lightweight mounting applications, they are particularly suitable when extreme thinness and/or adhesion to flexible substrates is requested. Solvent-free production results in an environmentally friendly application process, with low VOC features. 

For more than 40 years, tesa® 4965 has set the standard in double-sided tape performance. tesa® 4965 is widely recognised for its red liner and is the choice for a variety of surfaces, including tricky substrates that usually require specialty tapes or complicated processes. We have extended the tesa® 4965 performance a new assortment of transfer tapes, which utilises the tesa® 4965 adhesive.

The new 755-series transfer tape is now made with a PE-coated paper liner, designed with >38% less CO₂ and has UL 969 certification. It's suitable for a wide range of multipurpose lightweight mounting applications and lamination of flexible and thin materials. The transfer tapes are conformable to every angle and direction, age resistant and have a high initial tack.
