New President Appointed to tesa North American Regional Office

The management team of tesa SE, a global leader in the manufacture and supply of pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes, are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Carsten Meyer-Rackwitz as President / CEO to its North American regional division based in Charlotte, North Carolina, USA. This appointment is effective as of July 16, 2012.
Mr. Meyer-Rackwitz succeeds Mr. Daniel Germain who has been appointed to a regional management position in the company’s Asia / Pacific regional office.
In his new role, Mr. Meyer-Rackwitz will have responsibilities for managing the company’s North American industrial business and operations for Canada, the United States, and Mexico. Mr. Meyer-Rackwitz brings his broad global experience to the position having served in a variety of marketing and sales positions at manager, director, and vice president levels. Most recently, Mr. Meyer-Rackwitz served as the Corporate Vice President for the Distribution Business Unit at tesa tape’s global headquarters office in Hamburg, Germany.
Mr. Meyer-Rackwitz commented on his new appointment: “I am pleased to have the opportunity to expand upon the bourgeoning tesa business in North America within the industrial tape sector and look forward to leading the charge to develop new business opportunities.“
