Surface protection film
tesa® 4848 surface protection film features a polyethylene backing and a light, age-resistant acrylic adhesive. This ensures easy, residue-free removal even four weeks after application. The strong acrylic adhesive features very good adhesion to polar surfaces. The surface protection film is also UV- and temperature-resistant. The protection film is resistant to different chemical ingredients, physical stress and moisture. The transparent backing prevents a “darkroom” effect when the film is applied to windows. tesa® 4848 is frequently used to protect large areas during painting or facade work.
