Application Fields

This tape is especially suited for all renovation works, particularly for outdoor painting, fasade renovation as well as for heat protection. tesa® 4438 is especially suitable for the sticking on water diluted acrylic paints. It can be used as a protection tape during transport or storage of high value surfaces. tesa® 4438 is suitable for short term masking during wave soldering and other high temperature processes as well.
The application of an adhesive tape on weathered surfaces may lead to residues during the de-masking. Therefore we strongly recommend a test application before.
