Product description

tesa® 7492 foam tape is a cost-effective solution for a variety of sealing applications in the concreting and general industrial settings. The foam sealing tape is resistant to temperatures from -80°C to 80°C, humidity, UV-light, solvents, plasticizers, and natural aging. The acrylic adhesive offers excellent hold on various different surfaces, even on rough exteriors. The tape’s backing is comprised of a cross-linked polyethylene closed-cell foam, which is 100% watertight and therefore suitable for sealing off water and dirt. The foam tape is ideal for permanent applications on plastic. It is resistant to oil, solvents, and many chemicals, as well as fungi. The foam tape is ideal for die-cutting and is available in various different thicknesses: 3mm, 6mm, 10mm, and 12mm.
