tesa® 7140 Roll Masker
Efficient overmasking solution for automotive two-tone painting at high temperatures
Product description
tesa® 7140 Roll Masker is a combination of tesa® 7140 fineline tape and tesa® 4380 PV3 high temperature film for large area masking during two-tone car painting in the paint shop at automotive OEMs.
The combination of tape and film reduces process times and material waste at the OEM compared to a stand-alone filmic hood. It ensures efficient and reliable masking application with a maximum temperature resistance of up to 170°C/1h, thus allowing dry demasking processes.
Standardized and customized applicators for tesa® 7140 Roll Masker are available to ensure efficient tape application.
Main features:
- Highly temperature resistant material up to 170°C
- High tear resistant tape to avoid tearing during demasking
- Risk of overspray and paint deformation are eliminated through static film loading
