Product description
tesa® 61116 is a 12.7mm thick black neoprene foam tape with a natural rubber adhesive on one side. The closed cell foam offers outstanding resistance to oils and other petrochemicals and is compatible with most plastics. tesa® 61116 is flame retardant to FMVSS302 and complies with automotive industry standards. The product also creates an electrolysis barrier between different metals, making it suitable for enclosure type applications, particularly where contact with oil and petrol will occur. The tape is also available in other thicknesses: 1.6 mm (tesa® 61111), 3.2 mm (tesa® 61112), 4.8 mm (tesa® 61113), 6.4 mm (tesa® 61114) and 9.5 mm (tesa® 61115).
