Business Development Manager VW Group (m/f/x)

What you will do

  • Responsibility for the management and development of assigned accounts within VW Group and alignment of their project and activities.
  • Accountability for the achievement of the planned turnover and margin targets and for assuring a continuous significant and profitable growth for the assigned accounts.
  • Understand customer specifications and develop solid technical proposals to drive tesa business within the account. Provides on-site technical customer support.
  • Identify new market trends, technologies, developments, new projects and define a tactic to push and close such projects.
  • Managing the Spec.-In for the assigned OEMs and the relevant value chain.
  • Generating a sustained Project Pipeline, ensure the implementation and drive the approval process including application engineering.

What you will need

  • Technical degree with profound commercial experience or commercial degree with high technical affinity and experience in technical sales.
  • 5 - 10 years’ experience in Automotive OEM or Automotive Tier Suppliers Industry required, for example as Sales Engineer, Key Account Manager or Business Development Manager (m/f/x)
  • Good communication skills and team player.
  • Good analytical skill set.
  • German language mandatory. Fluent in English (in writing + verbal).
  • Readiness to travel
