Your Tasks

The Total Cost Manager ensures the execution and further development of tesa’s Total Cost Management philosophy. In this role, the jobowner is responsible for the development and execution of cost management system & procedures, which enables the organization to continuously work on main cost drivers to support a profitable growth of tesa’s product assortment.

  • Responsible for tesa’s Total Cost Management by incorporating a Target Costing approach into relevant corporate processes, thereby ensuring that target costs are identified and met
  • Improve costs within tesa’s product lifecycle management with a holistic view on cost down potentials
  • Challenge project portfolio composition and project selection to ensure a balanced picture between innovation and strategic cost down projects
  • Drive the Change Management Process and thereby foster the understanding and acceptance (e.g. with presenting methods, tools, procedures and best practice cases)
  • Implement and shape the target setting and future reporting for Total Cost Management
  • Ensure incorporation of Total Cost Management targets into the Business Units’ overall financial plan

Your Profile

  • Academic degree in Business Administration, Engineering or comparable discipline
  • At least 5 years of working experience in an international business environment with matrix organization and Changeprocesses
  • Proven track record of Cost Management experience, project results
  • Project Management skills, especially in cross functional team set ups
  • Very strong skills in communication, stakeholder management and moderation
