What you will do
You will join tesa’s Digital & IT organization and play a key role in shaping a scalable, high‑quality global testing landscape. As Test Manager, you will define and enhance our testing framework, drive consistent tool usage, and ensure best‑practice quality standards across all projects. You will own our test management and automation tools, enabling teams to deliver reliable, compliant, and efficient IT solutions.
In this role, you combine governance, consulting, and enablement—working closely with project managers, technical teams, business users, and external partners to ensure robust, automated, and future‑ready testing processes that support tesa’s digital ambitions.
What you will need
1. Testing Governance & Framework
- Own and improve tesa’s global testing framework (methods, templates, standards).
- Ensure consistent, scalable testing across all IT projects.
- Safeguard compliance with quality, audit, and control requirements.
2. Tool Ownership & Enablement
- Act as product owner for test management & automation tools (e.g., qTest, Tosca).
- Manage tool setup, governance, permissions, and lifecycle.
- Drive upgrades, innovations, and enhanced reporting.
3. Project Support & Consulting
- Advise teams on test strategy, planning, and execution.
- Support test scope definition and script creation/review for Integration, UAT, and Regression Testing.
- Train teams in tool usage and testing best practices.
4. Test Automation
- Expand and mature test automation across projects.
- Oversee creation and maintenance of automated test cases.
- Run and monitor automated test cycles, defects, and follow‑up.
- Maintain clear oversight of the automation portfolio.
5. Quality, Documentation & Enablement
- Create and maintain documentation and self‑learning materials.
- Promote QA culture through communication, coaching, and best‑practice sharing.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in test management (manual and automated).
- Strong understanding of test methodologies, QA processes, and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Hands‑on experience with test management tools; practical experience of qTest or Tosca is advantageous.
- Foundational knowledge of SAP products and business processes
- Clear, structured working style with a strong focus on quality.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and consulting skills.
- High level of ownership, assertiveness, and a drive for continuous improvement.
- Degree in computer science, IT, business informatics, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in global or complex IT implementation projects.
- International certifications in test management or project management.
