Las cintas tissue doble faz, gracias a su soporte no tejido o de tela, son conformables y flexibles, lo que les permite adherirse a superficies irregulares según sea necesario. Se fabrican para que se puedan troquelar bien y para que se puedan desgarrar a mano, a la vez que son resistentes al desgarro.

En muchos casos, son adecuados para aplicaciones de montaje bastante exigentes y permanentes en una gran variedad de industrias y ofrecen una muy buena adherencia inicial en la mayoría de las superficies. Gracias a su flexibilidad, también pueden utilizarse para laminar y empalmar espumas, textiles, cuero y papeles pesados, así como para aplicaciones de colocación de suelos.
