Plastic Bottle Flower Vases

The beautifully patterned DIY paper vase covers hide regular plastic water bottles. The advantage: They can be cut to any desired height.

We need:

Plastic bottles in different sizes sturdy patterned papers ruler cutter carpet knife pencil tesa® Glue Roller Permanent ecoLogo®

For these paper vase sleeves, we need:

Plastic bottles in different sizes, sturdy patterned papers, ruler, cutter, carpet knife, pencil, tesa® Glue Roller Permanent ecoLogo®.

Cut off the top of the bottles at the desired height using the cutter.

For thicker material, use a carpet knife.

Measure the circumference of the bottle and divide it by the number of the elements the vase should consist of. Mark this measurement in the relevant number + 2 cm each in width and in the desired height on the back of each paper. Number the elements with a pencil so that they can be glued together in the desired pattern on the front side.

Cut out the elements and glue them together in the desired sequence. To do so, roll on the glue along the vertical edge of the first paper.

Apply the second element. Continue with the other elements, and then close the sleeve.

Insert the bottle into the sleeve.
