Head of Data & Analytics (m/f/x)

Your Tasks

  • Define and execute the global Data & Analytics strategy for tesa and align fit with business strategy and priorities together with senior management across BUs & functions
  • Lead the global tesa Data & Analytics team delivering industry-leading Data & Analytics products
  • Facilitate the establishment and execution of the roadmap and vision for information delivery and management; including big data, BI & analytics, content and data management
  • Partner with senior business and technology leaders to generating actionable business insights through data & analytics
  • Manage the Data & Analytics Use Case Portfolio
  • Ensure continuous performance and value tracking of delivered Data & Analytics products
  • Foster data democratization by driving data literacy and a data-driven culture across tesa
  • Manage the Data & Analytics platform strategy
  • Foster a value-creation based culture of performance for the Data & Analytics team
  • Oversee planning and execution of self-service analytics data infrastructure roadmap

Your Profile

  • MS degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, Data Science, Data Mining or another quantitative field
  • At least 7 years of experience in Analytics, Data Science, Business Intelligence, or other quantitative disciplines with proven track record of delivering successful projects using agile practices (e.g. Agile, Scrum, SAFe, DevOps) and/or strong project/program management background
  • Minimum 5 years of experience leading large teams in a relevant area (e.g. Business Intelligence, Analytics, complex SAP environment)
  • Deep experience developing successful analytics-based solutions to business problems
  • Experience and exposure in Finance, Sales and Supply Chain business processes. Must be able to understand requirements, map Analytics business values to be developed and able to communicate in these fields
  • Advanced knowledge of customer master data in standard IT applications (e.g., CRM, SAP)
  • General technical understanding in Data Science development stack, cloud (e.g., Azure/AWS/GCP), and architecture design
  • Process Mining experience and development a plus
  • Excellent command of English
