The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) is a key member of the regional HR team, responsible for supporting a designated client group. The HRBP builds strong partnerships across the HR function to provide value-added services aligned with the organization’s business goals. This role serves as the primary link between the regional HR team and its client group, ensuring consistent communication and collaboration.
How you'll help the formula:
- Conduct regular meetings with respective client group(s) to offer timely support and proactive solutions
- Consult with assigned leadership team(s), providing HR guidance when appropriate
- Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions, programs, and policies
- Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues often through effective, thorough, and objective investigations
- Maintain a thorough understanding of legal requirements for employee management, reduce legal risks, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with the legal department as needed
- Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to assigned leaders (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions)
- Collaborate with management and employees to enhance work relationships, boost morale, and improve productivity and retention
- Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation
- Develop contract terms for new hires, promotions, and transfers, while providing guidance on business unit restructuring, workforce planning, and succession planning
- Identify training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs
- Participate in the evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure their success and follow up to confirm that training objectives are met
- Maintain an effective level of business literacy about the business unit's functional position its midrange plans, its culture and its competition
- Perform other related duties as required
Key elements for your role:
- Bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree; preferred
- 3+ years of Human Resources experience
- Experience working in a Shared Services HR model; preferred
- Excellent communication and coaching skills
- Ability to drive performance and talent management processes
- HR certification; preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Working knowledge of current employment and laws/regulations
- Ability to travel up to 10%
