International Key Account Manager (m/f/x) Automotive Tier Suppliers

What you will do

  • Responsibility for the management and development of assigned accounts in EMEA and alignment of their project and activities on a global scale.

  • Accountability for the achievement of the planned turnover and margin targets and for assuring a continuous significant and profitable growth for the assigned accounts.

  • Managing the Spec.-In for the assigned OEMs and the relevant value chain on a global scale.

  • Conduction of an efficient Tech Center and Plant coverage and supporting this for all relevant accounts within the assigned Territory.

  • Generating a sustained Project Pipeline, ensure the implementation and drive the approval process including application engineering.

  • Providing input for the Strategy Development of the EMEA Region and the global sales strategy for the assigned accounts.

What you will need

  • Technical degree with profound commercial experience or commercial degree with high technical affinity and experience in technical sales.

  • 5 - 10 years’ experience in specialty sales to industrial customers/ comparable industry knowledge / or tesa experience.

  • Experience from the Wire Harnessing Manufacturing Industry, Automotive OEM or Automotive Tier Suppliers Industry an advantage.

  • Good communication skills and team player.

  • Preferably has team leading experience in a matrix organisation.

  • Good analytical skill set.

  • Fluent in German and English (in writing + verbal). A third foreign language – preferrable Italian is an advantage. (Alternatively, Spanish or Portuguese).

  • Readiness to travel
