Product description
Fibreglass tapes are narrow cloth strips with woven edges that have glass-to-resin ratio to prevent unravelling. tesa® 4591 is a general purpose bidirectional cross filament tape based on glass filaments laminated to polyester film. With its reinforced fiberglass mesh, this cross filament tape combines good longitudinal tensile strength with very low elongation, making this tape the ideal choice for heave-duty packing and strapping applications
The synthetic rubber adhesive system operates well on a wide range of surfaces, ensuring a secure bond to various substrates, even to non-polar surfaces like PE and PP. This filament tape also exhibits excellent adhesion to a variety of corrugated and solid board surfaces.
